~*Vat Pou*~
In its faraway history, Vat Phou was a significant capital founded at about III-IV th century by a king Champa, named Bhadravarman. Later, at the middle of the VI th century, this city was conquered by a king of the Tchenla Sresthavarman, a little-son of the hermit Kambu.

This capital is realised at the leg of a mountain, nominated "Lingaparvata" On the top of the mountain "Lingaparvata" settled a great naturel Linga whom a chapel was built for the cult of Civa (?) and the human sacrifice
The city Vat Phu (the most important Khmer's monument in Laos), actual situated in the lower Laos, in the past was a saintly place for the Khmers
