The temple Ba Kong
The "long room" north, access to the pyramide
  Oeuvre distributed to the king Indravarman I and the king Yasovaran II
Bakong was a great Angkorian realization made of sandstone, date of 881, distributed to the king Indravarman I, located near the Prah-Ko temple. It measures 67m & 65m on an artificial support of 15m height, it has nine pyramids of which highest measured 15m is in the centre where the king placed a " linga " of çiva. The eight other pyramids were placed towards the eight directions. The central tower dated about the XII th century , probably constructed by the king Yasovarman II => More Picture of Bakong temple
